However, he was unable to proceed to Rohingya IDP camps due to protests by Rakhine extremists and blockage by government’s security forces.   This afternoon, around 12:00 noon, he arrived in Buthidaung. Then, he went to visit Buthidaung prison. Hundreds of Rohingyas were arrested arbitrarily and under false accusations of involving in the violence last year. They have been, without any legal charges against them, infinitely detained under extremely catastrophic condition in the prison. However, prior to the visit by Mr. Quintana, the authority had made Rohingya prisoners in the prison into many groups. Kutupalong, Ukhiya : A 60 years old Rohingya refugee tenant was killed at his landlord house a day after the glorious Islamic month, Ramadan. Haji Nur Ahamed, son of late Ali Miya was a Rohingya living in E2 block of unregistered refugee camp just in front of MSF (Médecins Sans Frontiéres). He rented a small open space from a 45 years old local Bengali named Jagir Ahamed who is known as “robber Jagir”. Jagir has been committing crimes against the defenceless, supportless, stateless and voiceless unregistered Rohingya refugees for many years. In the early morning of 10th August, Haji Nur was invited to Jagir’s house to discuss about the rent, but the discussion became the case of murder. Haji Nur was inhumanely murdered by Jagir and his sons when he denied receiving money from his relative in Saudi Arabia.   MS Anwmsar RvisionTV News (Updated News Below) August 9, 2013 Akyab (Sittway), Arakan - In the lastest shoot out at displaced Rohingyas in Oon Daw Gyi (Baariza Fara) camps, Sittway, today (on 9 th August 2013), by Myanmar’s Security Force (Hlun Tin), six Rohingyas died and several critically injured. A displaced Rohingya reported the tragedy as follows. “The displaced Rohingyas in Sittway are prevented from celebrating Eid festival and performing the prayer according the curfew order under section 144. Therefore, at 8:30AM, two Rohingya boys from Oon Daw Gyi (Baariza Fara) camps went for fishing to a nearby river. Meanwhile, some Hlun Tin appeared and shoot out at the boys. The Nation  August 9, 2013 SOME 260 Rohingya refugees who have been held captive for almost seven months tried yesterday to break out of the Phang Nga Immigration Centre to celebrate the end of the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan. The riot began at about 9am when some inmates tore down the doors separating three detention cells. They reportedly shouted and stormed the main gate to get out of the building. A team of about 300 officers rushed in to control the situation.  Negotiators including a religious leader and representatives of human-rights groups were sent in to calm them down but the detainees insisted on joining the Hari Raya Eid-al-Fitri celebration outside.
