Teknaf, Bangladesh : Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and Bangladesh Coastguards arrested 14 Rohingyas from different entry points of Bangladesh- Burma border and handed over to Teknaf police station on October 21, Didar, a local from Teknaf town said. “A patrol team of BGB arrested nine Rohingyas from the Naff River on October 21, at about 3:00 pm while they were entering the Bangladesh through the entry point of Teknaf Jadimura by a small row boat.” According to BGB sources, members of BGB arrested one male, four women and four children after being conducted operation. Since September last week, the BGP personnel arrested more than 100 Rohingya villagers (including Maulanas, Hafezi Quran, students. women and even minor boys ) with false and fabricated case in Maungdaw Township to take avenge who did not participate in so-called population data collection. According to BGB official’s statement, Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) arrested Rohingya, 322 in January, 287 in February, 211 in March, 196 in April and 157 in May 20, 2014 after being conducted different operations along the border. By KPN January 14, 2014 Maungdaw, Arakan State :  The authority divided the arrested Kila Dong villagers into two groups today about 3:00pm, said Halim, a Human Rights Watchdog said. The divided villagers are from Kila Dong who were brought to Maungdaw Police station today afternoon with three trucks for missing a police officer –Sergeant U Aung Kyaw Thein. Authority divided them into two groups – one only female and another one is only male, the Watchdog said. The authority said there are no space for all arrested villagers in Maungdaw police station. So, the police will send the female group to the Buthidaung jail. The male will keep in Maungdaw police station. By KPN December 19, 2013   Bandarbon, Bangladesh : A member of Arakan Army (AA) was arrested with gun and ammunition from Bangladesh-Burma border by locals on December 16, according to local Bangla newspaper named Purbokon. On Monday night, he was caught by local villagers on suspicion from the area of Biashari under the Bandarbon district on suspicion. He tried to fire the villagers, but he failed. The arrestee was identified as Than Shwe (45), hailed from Buthidaung Township, Arakan State, Burma. Dhaka Tribune September 14, 2013 They had talked with the refugees introducing themselves as 'journalists' Three foreigners were detained on Friday from the Kutupalong Rohingya refugee camp near Cox’s Bazar, for unauthorised entrance into the restricted zone. Two of the arrestees were from New Zealand and one from Singapore. According to an eyewitness account, the individuals entered the camp around 12pm without prior authorisation from local administration. They had cameras and laptops with them and talked with the refugees introducing themselves as “journalists.” Acting on a tip-off, police arrested the three and brought them to Ukhiya police station. However, the officer in charge of the station, Gias Uddin Mia, said they were not arrested but “taken into custody.” He also said the foreigners admitted they were conducting a research on the Rohingya people. Whether or not they were journalists could not be confirmed, he added.

Maungdaw, Arakan State: Burma border security force (Nasaka) arrested three Rohingyas and detained in the custody of Nasaka area number 7, on May 22, a villager told the Kaladanpress from Aley Than Kyaw on condition of anonymity. “The villagers were arrested from a house by a group of Nasaka personnel yesterday, at about 11:00 pm while they were watching a small television like game monitor.
