Refugee robbed by local goons

Teknaf, Bangladesh: A refugee from Nayapara camp was robbed by local goons on September 10, while he was returning to his shed after marketing from Teknaf, said a close friend of the victim who denied to be named. “The victim was identified as Yusuf, MRC No. 55379, and Block-B/1033/1 of Nayapara camp.” “Yusuf accompanied by his son-in-law Sayed Huassain of Block-E, went to Teknaf for marketing and to collect 60,000 Taka which was sent from KSA by his father.”

People face difficulty to travel in Maungdaw

Maungdaw, Arakan State: Residents from Maungdaw are facing difficulty to travel inside the town since last two months ago, said Mohamed Hashim, a resident from Maungdaw. “People from Maungdaw south are facing more difficulty than other part of the town as the road on this route is cut off into three part and vehicles on this route are not able to run.” “Moungdaw- Alel Thankyaw road had gone into three parts; Maungdaw-Du Nyaung Pingyi (Shaira Para); Du Nyaung Pingyi –Zaw Matat and Zaw Matat-Alel Thankyaw.” All the route are joining with bridges from one part to another, but some of bridge are going bad condition and it had fall down for heavy load of vehicles, said  Anno, a vehicle’s owner from Maungdaw. “The bridge of Du Nyaung Pingyi was fall down into stream on September 6, while a vehicle was carrying rations of Burma Border security force (Nasaka), but no one had taken any action for this accident.” “If the vehicle was going for public service, the owner has to pay all the damage

Ninety Rohingya arrest in Bangladesh

Chittagong, Bangladesh: Bangladesh security force arrested about ninety Rohingya in difference places in Bangladesh since August first week, according to an officer who is working on Rohingya in Bangladesh. “Most of the Rohingya are trying to enter into Bangldesh from their home land, Arakan, Burma while they were arrested. They were pushed back to their home after arrested on the border. Some time, the security force handed over to police for further action.”

Interrogation for wearing T shirt in Maungdaw
