Monks at the monastery shouted out for help and local Rohingyas came to extinguish the fire. “It was around 10AM on 16th March 2014 that some structures of the monastery at Guta Pyin (Godam Fara) caught fire. The international community has all along been indifferent to their plight. World leaders who claim to be the protagonists of human rights have done nothing to alleviate the sufferings of these people.
