Indonesians hold rally to slam massacre of Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar

Rohingya Muslims minority, fleeing from secterion ethnic violence in Myanmar Angry Indonesian protesters have once again taken to the streets of the capital city, Jakarta, to voice their outrage at the ongoing violence against the minority Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar. Kyauktaw, Arakan State:   Burmese Army seized 14 automatic rifles, two pistols and huge of exclusives from Rakhine villages of Kyauktaw Township, about five miles away from Kyauktaw Town on August 9, said a villager elder from. We know that Rohingyas remain one of the most persecuted and vulnerable communities of the world. We are told repeatedly that Rohingyas are terrorists or extremists; they cannot rightfully claim Burma as their own state, and the most dangerous of all -- Rohignya men are misogynist Muslims who are threats to the 'peace loving' ethnically heterogeneous but predominantly Buddhist communities of Burma. Derived from Rohang, the ancient name of Arakan, the Muslims of Burma's west coast identify themselves as Rohingya. Many members of the community in recent decades preferred to be labelled as Arakan Muslims. The widely accepted term for the Rohingya, in all formal and most of the informal discussions in Burma, is 'Bengali Muslims'. Myanmar allows OIC humanitarian mission

OIC delegation meets President Thein Sein in Yangon, Friday.   YANGON   — The government of Myanmar agreed to allow the entry of Islamic relief organizations into its territory to provide needed assistance to the displaced Rohingya Muslims after the bloody events that took place over the last few months in the country resulting in thousands of dead, injured and displaced.
