Breaking News: Rakhine Terrorists Kill Three Rohingyas in Sittwe

Anwar   |  RvisionTV.com September 11, 2013 Sittwe (Akyab), Arakan - This early morning, Rakhine terrrorists killed three Rohingya fishermen just out to sea from the coast of the village of Ye Chan Pyin, Sittwe Township. “There were four Rohingya fishermen went for fishing in the sea not so out from the coast of Ye Chan Pyin village. A group of ‘Rakhine’ terrorists spotted them in the sea. They attacked them. And then, they threw the four fishermen into the sea tying their hands and legs together. Three innocent Rohingyas died and one survived” said a local Rohingya in Sittwe Township. “They went out for fishing because they can no longer face starvation. Bangladesh propose to list the “undocumented Rohingyas”

Chittagong, Bangladesh : The cabinet member of Bangladesh endorsed a national strategy for dealing with the issues of refugees and citizens from Burma living illegally in Bangladesh, proposing listing of the “undocumented Rohingyas”, the cabinet secretary Mohammad Musharraf Hossain told a press briefing after the meeting on September 9. There are around 25,000 Rohingya refugees living in two camps Nayapara and Kutupalong located in Cox’s Bazar district. But the number of undocumented Burmese (Myanamar) citizens living illegally would be 300,000 to 500,000, causing socio-economic and environmental problems here. First Rohingya arrive in southern Thailand by boat before sailing season

(Photo: AFP) By Australia News Network September 11, 2013 A boat with more than 200 Rohingya men onboard has been found at a beach in southern Thailand, after fleeing ongoing and escalating violence at home. The Phuketwan Tourism News reports that the men were found on a beach in Satun province, with thousands more expected to follow in coming months. The boat has arrived well ahead of what is considered as the safe sailing season, which is only due to start in late October. Three other boats are reported to have set off from Myanmar's troubled Rakhine state but their locations are unknown. Local police have been holding the Rohingya while waiting for the Thai army to step in. At least 237 people have died in sectarian violence since June last year and more than 150,000 have been displaced. The vast majority of the victims were Muslim. More Rohingya migrants flee Songkla center

Photo: AFP NNT News September 11, 2013 SONGKLA, 11 September 2013 (NNT) - Another group of 28 Muslim Rohingya asylum seekers in Songkla province escaped from an immigration detention center last night.  The group consisting mainly of women and children was picked up by unidentified men in a pickup truck and a car. According to police, the escape was well planned ahead of the time of their escape.  Only 26 Rohingya migrants remain at the center, from the initial number of 102. Many have attempted and succeeded at fleeing the shelter in a bid to travel to a third country or to reunite with their families, 9 months after being transferred to Songkla.  More than 1,800 Rohingya who fled Myanmar by sea this past year are being detained across Thailand, often in overcrowded centers and shelters.
