Military intelligence arrest Rohingya villagers from Maungdaw south

Maungdaw, Arakan State:   Military Intelligence personnel  have been  arresting Rohingya villagers from Burma border security force (Nasaka) area number 7 and 8 of Maungdaw south   since July 11, according to an elder from Maungdaw. “Lt. Col. Kyaw Zwa Win, the Military Intelligence officer led the operation.  The officer  with the help of his coworkers Sergeants Than Win and Kyi Han, Oo Daung village administration officer Tin Maung (Rakhine) and the monk of  Oo Daung village monastery.”

The Lady maliciously mum on Myanmar Muslim cleansing: Analyst

A prominent political analyst says that Myanmar President’s proposal to expel Rohingya Muslims from the country is an “ethnic cleansing” and the country’s Nobel Peace Prize laureate is “criminally silent” about it.   ( A hlul  B ayt  N ews  A gency) - “This is ethnic cleansing…. the government and even this Nobel prize winner, the lady [Aung San Suu Kyi] is so criminally silent about the problems of this minority in Myanmar,” Professor Ghulam Taqi Bangash at the Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology (SZABIST) said.

World absent without leave on Myanmar Muslims' plight: Analyst

Myanmar’s President Thein Sein says Rohingya Muslims must be expelled from the country and sent to refugee camps run by the United Nations. The former junta general said on Thursday that the "only solution" was to send nearly a million Rohingya Muslims - one of the world's most persecuted minorities -- to refugee camps run by United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
