টেকনাফ বাংলাদেশ।কেরামত আলী নামে একজন জানান, টেকনাফ ও বার্মার মধ্যবর্তী সীমান্ত বানিজ্য ও স্থল বন্দর ৮০ দিন পর চাল্য হয়েছে,গত ৮ জুন সাম্প্রদায়িক দাঙার কারণে এটি বন্ধ ছিল। গতকাল সকাল ১০টা৪৫ এর দিকে ৪৯ জন যাত্রী নিয়ে দুইটি ট্রলার বার্মা থেকে বাংলাদেশে আসে এবং ৩৬ জন যাত্রী নিয়ে আরেকটি ট্রলার ছেড়ে যায়।

Foreign Secretary Bob Carr said, “We're assisting with this emergency aid – helping with clothing, blankets and basics like mosquito nets, bedding and soap for 14,000 people now in temporary shelters after fleeing their homes.”

Woman dies for delivery case at Maungdaw

Maungdaw, Arakan State:  A pregnant  woman  was dead today at about 2:00 am for the lack of medical treatment at Maungdaw north, said a relative of the victim on condition of anonymity. “The dead body was identified as Ms. Tareso (32), wife of Feros Ahmed, hailed from Borgoa Bill village of Kyauk Hla Gaar village tract of Maungdaw Township.”

Nasaka shot dead two Rohingya youths

Maungdaw, Arakan State:  Burma’s border security force (Nasaka) shot dead two Rohingya youths yesterday after releasing them at Maungdaw Township, a close relative of the victims said on condition of anonymity. The victims were identified as Jaber (25), son of Shab Meah and Saber (30), son of Ramjan Ali. The two youths belong to Dagriza village under the Nasaka headquarters of Kawar Bill of Maungdaw north.
