ALP attacks Engineer Crop (GE) in Maungdaw : Nasaka

Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh:  Burma border security force (Nasaka) accused the Arakan Liberation Party (ALP)- a Rakhine armed groups – for the attack  to GE personnel on November 7, said Lieutenant Colonel Mahabubur Rahman, the 15 BGB battalion commander, Naikonchari, Bangladesh, according to Nasaka’s letter to BGB. “The Nasaka sent a letter to Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) on November 10, for the help in rescuing three GE personnel who were kidnapped on November 7, after attacking near Bandoullah camp, the Bangladesh-Myanmar border.”

Group: Myanmar ethnic tensions block medical aid

The Associated Press The European aid group Doctors Without Borders says it has been prevented from providing essential medical services because of violence between Buddhists and Muslims in western Myanmar. The group said Monday that antagonism between Rakhine Buddhists and Rohingya Muslims had led to threats that have prevented it from providing health care for thousands of people.

Egypt demands Myanmar to stop acts of violence committed against Muslims in Myanmar

Cairo: Nov. 5 -- (BNA) Egypt has expressed is strong irritation towards the renewal of acts of violence committed against Muslims in Myanmar, and urged the authorities in Myanmar (formerly Burma) to take immediate, decisive action and bring to an end such acts of violence committed against (Burmese) Muslims who belong to the Rohingya ethicity. Global Day of Action News (London)

Burmese Rohingya Organisation UK and Restless Beings jointly organized Global day of action in London on last Thursday 12-02 pm London time. More than 150 activists joined to the protest. International Medias and regional Medias presented to the protest including BBC, NHK TV, Press TV and some journalists. 

No humanitarian aids in Maungdaw

Maungdaw, Arakan State:   No humanitarian aids are allowed to distribute to Rohingya community in Maungdaw since June after riot, according to a politician from maungdaw. “The government is not allowed International NGOs – UNHCR and WFP- to distribute aids to Rohingya community in Maungdaw, where these NGOs were distributing humanitarian aids to these people before riot betwwen  Rakhine and Rohingya in June.”
