Helicopters opened fire on boats carrying Rohingya Muslims heading to Bangladesh and fleeing sectarian violence in west Burma, according to refugees who survived the sea ordeal.  

Helicopter fired on Rohingya, refugee says

A young Rohingya refugee who tried to flee Burma following bloody sectarian clashes in Rakhine State says an unidentified helicopter fired on boats carrying Rohingya refugees who were attempting to flee to Bangladesh. The account was described by a 10-year-old girl in an article by  Radio Free Asia (RFA)  on its website on Thursday.

SIO protests at Myanmar’s Kolkata consulate against killing of Muslims

SIO officials wanted to meet the Consul General Mr. U. Kyaw Swe Tint, but Myanmar officials refused, but later through Police Official the Myanmar Consulate accepted a memorandum of SIO.
