A Rohingya activist in hiding in Sittwe claimed that more than 80 Muslims had been arrested in the past month for having a computer or smart phone. “I also use a laptop secretly, everybody uses a laptop secretly … in every IDP camp it’s the same thing,” he was quoted as saying. Arakan State spokesperson Win Myaing denied the allegations.
