NAY PYI TAW , 1 May-The following is the full text of the message sent by President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Agga Maha Thayay Sithu, Agga Maha Thiri Thuddhamma U Thein Sein on the occasion of May Day:-

Myint Hlaing and other ministers are held to account more, now military rule is over  A Burmese government minister has apologised in parliament after he was reported to have called other MPs uneducated and ill-informed. Agriculture Minister Myint Hlaing - a former army general - blamed the media for misquoting him and said he was sorry if his remarks caused offence.

လာမယ့်​ ၂၀၁၅ ခုနှစ်မှာ အဓမ္မ အလုပ်​ေစခိုင်း​မှု​ေတွ ြမန်မာြပည်မှာ လံုး​ဝပ​ေပျာက်သွား​ေစဖို့​ စတင် ​ေဆာင်ရွက်​ေနြပီလို့​ ြမန်မာသမ္မတ ဦး​သိန်း​စိန်က ​ေမလ ၁ ရက်​ေန့​မှာ ကျ​ေရာက်တဲ့​ ကမ္ဘာ့​ အလုပ်သမား​ေန့​ အထိမ်း​အမှတ်​ေပး​ပို့​တဲ့​ သဝဏ်လွှာမှာ ထည့်​သွင်း​ေြပာြကား​လိုက်ပါတယ်။

မန်မာနိုင်ငံမှာ ​ေရာက်ရှိ​ေနတဲ့​ ကုလသမဂ္ဂအတွင်း​ေရး​မှူး​ချုပ် မစ္စတာ ဘန်ကီမွန်း​ဟာ ဒီက​ေန့​ ြမန်မာ့​ဒီမိုက​ေရစီ​ေခါင်း​ေဆာင် ​ေဒါ်​ေအာင်ဆန်း​စုြကည်ကို ​ေနအိမ်မှာ သွား​ေရာက််​ေတွ့​ဆံုြပီး​ လွှတ်​ေတာ်တက်ဖို့​ ဆံုး​ြဖတ်လိုက်တဲ့​အ​ေပါ် ချီး​ကျူး​ဂုဏ်ြပုလိုက်ြပီး​ ကုလသမဂ္ဂမှာ မိန့်​ခွန်း​ေြပာြကား​ဖို့​လည်း​ ဖိတ်ြကား​ခဲ့​ပါတယ်။

Political reforms under President Thein Sein’s military-backed government threaten to be overshadowed by a major conflict in the country’s northernmost state. Although Burma has seen some reforms in recent months, Thein Sein’s government is facing renewed criticism from human rights groups for overseeing a brutal war in Kachin State.  The Burma Army has been fighting against the Kachin Independence Army (KIA) since hostilities started in June last year.
