 1-Young Rohingya Student Become Prey of Treble Victimization

Around 8:00 AM on 31st October 2013, Anwar Sadek S/o Aman Shariff (Age 15) hails from village of Khadir Bil (Nyaung-Chaung), was going to the downtown to buy some necessary stationeries before school time. He is a 8th Standard Student at Maung Daw High School.
On the way on his bicycle, he was hit by a rushing Rakhine motor-cyclist and injured badly. Instead action against the motorcyclist over-speeding his bike, the traffic police including Saya Tin Aye at Myoma Kayintan post detained him the whole day. And they were asking Kyat 25,000 from him for his release.
He is a poor student. In the evenning of the day, he borrowed Kyat 5,000 from his friend going back home after school and finally got him released.
“This is called “Treble Victimization.” He got hit by motorcycle and injured, detained whole day disabling him from attending his class and had to pay money for getting injured. What a justice! This happens only in Myanmar.”
Sindhi Khan is a grassroot activist in Arakan.

2- Rakhine Admininstrator of Wach-Cha Village Extort Money from Rohingyas

Maung Maung Thein, a Rakhine and village admininstrator of the village of Wach-Cha in southern-Maung Daw has been arbitrarily extorting money from Rohingyas. The list of the people he extorted money from is as mentioned below.

Iran Ready to Dispatch Medical Teams to Myanmar

TEHRAN (FNA)- Head of the Basij Organization of Iran's Medical Society Mohammad Rayeeszadeh voiced the society's readiness to dispatch medics, nurses and relief and rescue forces to help Myanmar's Muslims who are under the daily attacks of the majority in the Southeast Asian country. "The Basij (volunteer) organization of the Medical Society is prepared to dispatch emergency teams of physicians, nurses and rescue workers to Myanmar," Rayeeszadeh told FNA on Saturday.

2,600 tonnes of aid delivered to Myanmar Muslims

Khalifa Foundation has distributed urgent aid totalling 5,200 tonnes Gulf News  March 04, 2013  Burma: The Khalifa Bin Zayed Humanitarian Foundation (KZHF) has distributed another 2,600 tonnes of food aid to Myanmar Muslims, completing its third and last phase of the urgent aid totalling 5,200 tonnes of relief items among 850,000 beneficiaries. As per directives of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the assistance was purchased from the local markets of Myanmar in cooperation and coordination with the Embassy of Kuwait to be shipped by sea to “Rakhine (Arakan)” for distribution among the affectees there.
