Maungdaw, Arakan State: Burmese border security force (Nasaka) arrested a crop field watcher – Rohingya – while watching his crop field (winter paddy) at night on February 1, according toan elder from Udaung village.
Molana Eliayas 20, son of Abdu Sukkur, hailed from Udaung village, Maungdaw south is the crop field watcher.
"He was arrested over allegation for living at night in a hut of crop field from escaping from so called arrest warrant of June 2012 riot.”

The Nasaka personnel tortured him in their Udaung out post camp, said a trader from the village.
However, Nasaka personnel demanded huge money for his release, but he refused to pay the money as he was not involved in June 2012 riot, said an aide of Nasaka.
The Nasaka used so many strategies to extort money from Rohingya community since June, 2012 riot between Rohingya and Rakhine.
