"Rohingya People"

We the Rohingya people whose citizenship are stripped by Burmese authorities in 1982 and imposed the various restrictions on us.

We the Rohingya people who have no right to nationality and access to education. 


We the Rohingya people who have no Right to perform religion and celebrate the culture.


We the Rohingya people who have no right to political opinion; to marriage and freedom of movement.


We the Rohingya people who are always subjected to be persecutions and immature die. 

We the Rohingya people who are denied by the Burmese Goverment and most persecuted in the world.


We the Rohingya people who are compelled to leave the motherland to save the lives but have to die by sea and ground on the way to destination.


We the Rohingya people who feel like that we caught between a snake and a crocodile.


We the Rohingya people whose future is darkness,hopeless and mournful as well as tears.


We the Rohingya people who have no right and opportunity to eradicate the ignorance and barbarism from our Community, Country and the World.


We the Rohingya people who passed 20 years in Bangladesh Rohingya Refugee Camp with a crisis situation and fear.


We the Rohingya people who are attempting to alive like other human being in the Universe and access to freedom.


We the Rohingya people who create Thousand of questions everyday like:


~ Where do we belong to this World?


~ How long we have to bear the torture, rape, arson and genocide?


~ How long we have to be burden to the Countries like Bangladesh, Malaysia and etc?


~ Where is our place to live in safety, dignity and peace?

American Buddhists Promote 969 Movement With Website

Irrawaddy News: July 9, 2013 A group of American Buddhists has launched an English-language website promoting the 969 movement, in response to negative media surrounding the ultra-nationalist Buddhist campaign in Burma. The website aims to dispel “myths” about the movement, with a letter from nationalist monk Wirathu to a Time magazine reporter whose article about 969 was banned in Burma.  “We’re not officially endorsed by Ven Wirathu at this time but will send a delegation to his monastery soon,” a spokesperson for the site said via email, adding that the group would create a nonprofit to coordinate “969 activities worldwide in response to religious oppression.”

Rohingya Activist Nominated for Human Rights Award

PHR congratulates Zaw Min Htut, a Burmese Rohingya activist, on his nomination for the 2011  US State Department Human Rights Defenders Award . Zaw Min Htut has been working for Rohingyas’ rights through the Burmese Rohingya Association of Japan since he fled Burma in 1998. Prior to that he was a student activist in Burma, and was detained for his participation in protests in 1996. In Japan, Zaw Min Htut has organized protests at the Burmese embassy and has written books on the history of Rohingya.
