Turkish humanitarian aid entered a refugee camp despite tight surveillance by Bangladeshi police.
A group of Turkish humanitarian aid workers was able to enter a refugee camp in Bangladesh that shelters Rohingya Muslims and distributed meat on the occasion of Muslim holiday of the Eid al Adha, or the Feast of Sacrifice.
The Turkish aid workers along with an embedded Anadolu Agency correspondent managed to enter the camp near the Kutupalong village despite tight surveillance by Bangladeshi police who sought to prevent Turkish humanitarian teams to deliver aid.
Children at the camp were seen drawing Turkish flags to express their gratitude.
