Rakhines prepare to attack Rohingyas in Maungdaw


Maungdaw, Arakan State: Rakhine community from Maungdaw is stocking lethal weapons to attack Rohingya community in Maungdaw since July, according to a village admin officer from Maungdaw.

“The Rakhines have been bringing lethal weapons- long swords- from different townships of Arakan State through Buthidaung by trucks and ships since July.”

“The authorities concerned of Buthidaung jetty have been helping or pretending they don’t know that the lethal weapons have been transporting.”
The lethal weapons were loading in the trucks and going to Maungdaw where so many authorities check points and it was also unloaded in Maungdaw without difficult, as the authority are helping the Rakhine community to attack the Rohingya community in Maungdaw, said an eyewitness from Buthidaung jetty.
“Two trucks of long swords were loaded from Buthidaung jetty which was unloaded in Darkywa of Ward number 3, Maungdaw on Augut 19.”
“Similarly, another two loaded trucks were unloaded at Aung Mangla Monastery of Shwezarr village tract this week and so many Rakhines from different places of Arakan State are staying inside the old rice mill of Shwezarr , old cinema hall and Monasteries.”
Every night, local Rakhines and Rkhines from out sider have been sitting meeting in the Monetary how to attack Rohingyas and to stock the lethal weapons, said an elder from Maungdaw.
“The meeting was lead some monks and some authority high level officer from Maungdaw and most of the lethal weapons are stocked in the monasteries.”
Rakhines from Maungdaw bring some blacksmiths from other townships of Arakan State to Ward number 6, Maungdaw to make long swords and other lethal weapons where the Rakhines are making lethal weapons inside a mountain near the four mile gate. In four mile areas, there is Hluntin Headquarters, Nasaka Check post and police station, said a villager from Ward number 6.
“It seen Rakhine community has planned to attack Rohingya community in Maungdaw where the Rohingyas have nothing like cooking knife in their home and the Rakhines have everything with support of authority.”

Iran Ready to Dispatch Medical Teams to Myanmar

TEHRAN (FNA)- Head of the Basij Organization of Iran's Medical Society Mohammad Rayeeszadeh voiced the society's readiness to dispatch medics, nurses and relief and rescue forces to help Myanmar's Muslims who are under the daily attacks of the majority in the Southeast Asian country. "The Basij (volunteer) organization of the Medical Society is prepared to dispatch emergency teams of physicians, nurses and rescue workers to Myanmar," Rayeeszadeh told FNA on Saturday.

2,600 tonnes of aid delivered to Myanmar Muslims

As per directives of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the assistance was purchased from the local markets of Myanmar in cooperation and coordination with the Embassy of Kuwait to be shipped by sea to “Rakhine (Arakan)” for distribution among the affectees there.
