WAM Abu Dhabi, Sep 19th, 2012 (WAM) -- The Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Humanitarian Foundation (KZHF) has concluded the first phase of emergency relief project for Rohingya Muslims and has provided in-kind assistance to around 200,000 affected people in Myanmar's Arakan state. The project was launched under the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan to provide emergency aid to the displaced Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar in the wake of the bloody atrocities against them.

Maungdaw, Arakan State:  On September 16, in the morning, a Rohingya  woman was severely beaten up by the military along with Natala villagers because she went to the Natala village to take back her relatives’ cattle that were taken away by army and local Natala villagers from grazing field, said a villager on condition of anonymity.

Maunegdaw, Arakan State:  A Rohingya Muslim was arrested and detained by police at Maungdaw over the allegation that he told the real happening to the Major Geneal Maung Oo  about the recent violence between two communities while he visited at Maungdaw, said a friend of the victim  from Maungdaw.

Maungdaw, Arakan State: A Rohingya Muslim dead body was found in Maungdaw south by Rohingya villagers today, in th morning, said a villager from Maungdaw.  “The dead body was found in a stream of Kila Dong (Du Chee Yar Tan) by villagers while it was floating.”

He knew both Rakhine and Rohingya very well, he was reported in detail information of Arakan State by Bo Yan Naing who was responsible for Arakan State in his time.

Maungdaw, Arakan State: The Burma border security force( Nasaka) personnel from three miles  checked post have been harassing  Rohingyas’ vehciles driver and Rohingya travelers , according to an elder from Maungdaw.
