Ukhiya, Cox's Bazar:   According to our source, a Rohingya Refugee namely Jafor Alam has got beaten seriously by Police Habildar Motin in front of thousand eyes without any reason during his waiting to get ration food items at around 4:00pm on 13/12/2012 in Kutupalong Refugee camp in Bangladesh. When he appealed to Honorable Camp In Charge (CIC) for his equity then CIC told him for not worry and he will take an action for the victim equity. But later he didn't take any action and said nothing to police as well. 

Since 8 th  June, fleeing the desperate situation of the hidden genocide has been becoming the only worry for most Rohingyas. Government backed atrocities and brutalities of Rakhines, isolation of the area from the world and media, occurrence of such bloodshed without expectation and preparation, the dire living situation after the violence and desperation from a peaceful future in a short time are the main factors that make the Rohingyas risk every other hardship to escape.

Teknaf, Bangladesh: A flag meeting between Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and Burma’s border security force (Nasaka) of sector commander- level, was held at Maungdaw in Burma yesterday, according to BGB official. “The two forces discussed issues such as— trans-border crimes; smuggling especially for drug, to extend relation between two countries, to maintain good relation continuously, release of Bangladesh nationals detained in Burma jails and illegal intrusion and also agreed to maintain peace and order along the borders.”

SINGAPORE, Dec 13 – Singapore has turned away a ship carrying 40 people rescued off Myanmar, port officials said Thursday, amid media reports the passengers could be stateless Muslim Rohingya. Singapore’s Maritime and Port Authority (MPA) said it denied entry to the Vietnamese-registered bulk carrier Nosco Victory because of a lack of information about its passengers. The authority said in a statement it had received a “pre-arrival notification” that a vessel which rescued 40 people from the sea off Myanmar wanted to enter Singapore.

The accidents appear to be heartbreaking consequences for Rohingyas whose family members tried to choose the perilous routes by sea. Thousands of Rohingya people had been sent to Malaysia through these routes operated by some human trafficker groups.

Maungdaw, Arakan State:  The Burmese authority didn’t give recognition to 250 Rohingya families  as IDPs in Maungdaw since ethnic cleansing  occurred  in June, according to a NGOs staff who didn’t want to mention his name. “These Rohingyas families are suffering in their lives struggle since June  ethnic cleansing as their homes and property were burned down, destroyed and looted in the ethnic cleansing and the Maungdaw Township authorities didn’t allow them as IDPs or refugees in their own town.”
